Once we settle on the details, a signed contract and a retainer fee are required to secure your date. Sessions tend to fill up quickly, so I recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advanced to ensure availability.

Shaye Studios is based in Colorado Springs, but I love exploring new places to create meaningful portraits. Whether it’s a hidden gem nearby or a destination that speaks to your soul, I’m happy to travel for sessions. Travel fees may apply depending on the location—reach out, and let’s bring your vision to life wherever it takes us!

Quality takes time, and I want to make sure every image is carefully edited to reflect my signature style. You can expect your final gallery within 3-4 weeks after our session. I’ll keep you updated throughout the process, and if I have any sneak peeks to share, you’ll be the first to see them!

Since every session is customized, the number of final images varies. After our shoot, I carefully select and edit the best shots that truly capture your story. On average, you can expect 10-15, but this depends on the length and style of your session. If you’re looking for something specific, let’s chat and tailor your experience!

Since my work is rooted in natural environments, I keep a close eye on the weather leading up to your session. If the forecast looks unfavorable (heavy rain, extreme winds, etc.), we can reschedule to the next available date at no extra cost. A little overcast or drizzle can add a beautiful, moody touch—so unless it’s severe, we might still go for it!

Yes! Every final image is professionally edited to reflect my signature style. I focus on natural, cinematic edits that enhance lighting, colors, and mood while keeping you looking like you. Minor skin retouching is included, but I don’t do drastic alterations. If you have specific requests, feel free to ask!

Yes! I’d love for you to share your portraits. All I ask is that you tag @shayestudios_ when posting so I can see and celebrate them with you! Please avoid adding filters or heavy edits, as it can alter the final look of your images.

My primary focus is environmental portraiture, but I do take select bookings for couples or small groups when it aligns with my storytelling approach. If you’re interested in a session outside of my usual work, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss if it’s the right fit!

Life happens, and I totally understand! If you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. Reschedules due to weather or emergencies are allowed at no extra cost. Cancellations are subject to my policy, which typically includes a non-refundable deposit to hold your spot, as well as a rescheduling fee.
